  • 1. What requirements do I need to meet to rent a residence?
    The following requirements need to be met to be able to rent a residence at The Vault:
    • • You must be a foreign student or expat;
    • • You have never lived in The Netherlands before and have never been registered as a Dutch citizen.

    If you don't meet these requirements, we cannot offer you a residence in The Vault, unfortunately. However, it is possible to rent a room in one of our other complexes. More information about these can be found on our website: www.magisrent.nl
  • 2. Are there any additional costs besides the monthly rent?
    The residences in The Vault are rented out at an all-in rental price. This rental price includes water/electricity, service costs and furniture rent.
  • 3. How long am I allowed to rent a residence?
    The rental agreements for The Vault start with a minimum of 6 months, which can be extended afterwards. There is no limit to your time at The Vault, as long as the resident and landlord both agree on a lease extension.
  • 4. How are the kitchens delivered?
    The kitchens are anthracite and have a marble-look top. They are all equipped with a fridge with freezer, microwave/oven combination, induction hob, extractor hood, dishwasher and storage cabinets. There will be a complete kitchen inventory when you arrive at your residence.
  • 5. How are the walls of the residences finished?
    All walls are plastered and painted. It is not allowed to modify any of the walls, for example by painting them or drilling into them.
  • 6. Is it possible to park my car at the building?
    It's not possible to park your car on the property. The Vault is a few minutes away by foot from the train station, so we recommend using public transportation.
  • 7. Is there a locked bicycle storage?
    There is a possibility to park your bike on the closed premises.
  • 8. Are pets allowed in the complex?
    Pets are not allowed in the entire complex. If you wish to keep a pet for a special reason, please contact us:

  • 9. Is the building accessible for disabled people?
    Due to height differences and no elevator in the building, it is less suitable for disabled people.
  • 10. How do I submit maintenance requests?
    Maintenance requests can be submitted 24 hours a day via our tenant portal 'BLOXS'. You can access BLOXS by clicking on the Tenant Portal link in the navigation bar on the top of this page.
  • 11. Are there internet and TV connections in the residences?
    Yes, each residence has its own WiFi router and 4K smart TV, along with some live TV channels.
  • 12. How can I apply for a residence at The Vault?
    If you are interested in a residence at The Vault, and you meet the requirements as stated in the first question on this page, you can sign up for the waiting list through our rental platform www.magisrent.nl. Head over to 'For rent' on the Magis Rent website and find the waitinglist for The Vault in the list.
